After his return he began his life long career in the optical business with Dietz-Mclean Optical in October 1958. In November of 1967 he met the love of his life and by Christmas Eve that year, he was engaged to her. He married Margaret Garza on April 20, 1968.

Frank is best described as a man of humble beginnings, a kind and gentle man with a quick wit and an infectious smile. He had a heart of gold that will live on forever.
His passions were spending time with his family, playing golf, watching the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and shopping. He enjoyed talking to people and campaign for his favorite candidate his wife. He loved his career in the optical business for over 60 years. He relished time with his children and grandchildren in all their adventures. Frank never forgot that love of family was the only thing in life that mattered.
The angles guided him to our Lord and he made sure to let his family know that he had arrived. He was loved and will be deeply missed but his compassion and love will live on.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 10:00am at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza, San Antonio, Texas, with burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery to follow.
