Fidel Perez, Jr.

Fidel Perez Jr., loving husband was taken to Heaven on November 1st, 2012, at the age of 89. God Bless you my Love you have made our place here on earth a blessed one. He served his country in WWII and the Korean War as a member of the United States Army and Air Force, in a Medical Support Units and retired working for Kelly Air Force Base. He loved his family, Big Band Music and Dancing and was known for his medical knowledge and gardening skills. He is remembered for his humor and stories. He was preceded in death by his parents Fidel Perez and Petra Fuentes Perez, and his two brothers Willie and Severo Perez. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Irma Perez, his sons Fidel III, Edward, Ernest and Ruben Perez; brother Joe Perez; sisters Margaret Cervantes, Mary Flores and numerous loving family members and friends. Visitation will begin 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Trevino Funeral home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 for a 9:15a.m. Mass at San Juan de Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
