When I first met Evelyn I knew instantly that she would be a person of importance in my life.  After losing my mother and sister she was the one I went to as I knew she had nursed so many during illnesses and that she would understand. She did  and without too many words would comfort me.  We had our fun too going shopping and out to lunch. She was without a doubt in her own words  "a tough old bird" .  I will miss her so very much.  She was loved.  Melodee Saenz

Evelyn Howard was first the friend and neighbor of my beloved parents, Herb and Scottie Wilson.  With Evelyn's beloved husband, C. P., she was the matriarch of Noble Estates and her family.  For me, she was the special friend who comes after parents.  She was never judgmental, always there to listen and always loving with hugs and greetings.  Knowing she is at peace, with her Lord and Savior, her husband, C. P. and two children, LaVerne, and C. P., Jr., I rejoice for her.  I will always miss her.  She was the ultimate grandmother for Brian and Dana and adored them all the days of their lives.  She loved their children, too.  What a blessing, Evo was to this world!  Jim and I send condolences to Connie, Brian, Dana, their spouses and children.

I'm so honored to have met Evelyn, even for such a short time, and saddened by her loss.  She was a beautiful lady.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

 We are so lucky to have been part of Evelyn's extended family.We have had many hours of fun playing Pollyanna &
dominoes with her at the lake & at Brian
& Dennies.She was funny & sharp,right to the end.She will be greatly missed

I first met Evelyn at Pot Luck where she was the Bingo Gueen, plus she always attended our 4th of July Parades and Ice Cream socials
up to 2010. She was a joy to know and so fun to visit with at her lake

We have know Evelyn for 44 years and have lived next door to her lake home for 11 years.  Evelyn was always a lovely neighbor to visit with and we so enjoyed her stories about the lake life.  She loved her family and was blessed to see her second great grandchild this year.  She wanted to live her last days here at the lake and she was well cared and loved by the Kathy and her helpers.  My heart goes out to Dana & Brian, her loved grandchildens and their families.  May they all still come to the lake to play and enjoy this special place Evelyn loved so much. Love and hugs dear friend, we will truly miss you as our neighbor.  Sue & Mike Kersey

I am so Honored to have known this woman and came to love her like my own Family. Evelyn was by far the most Gracious,Amazing,One of a kind Lady ever. She either liked you or she didn't,so your first impression you gave her was by your own fate!!! Her color was green and her food was enchiladas. She also loved her Molly Howard (her tri-color cocker of over 8 years.) She would tell you how the cow ate the cabbage. There  were always someone at the lakehouse and always food for all!! She told me when i was having alot of Family issues that I was a thorn among the roses!!!  I will never forget that  EVER::) I LOVE YOU EVELYN HOWARD.
