Gene Norris - 2/19/1935 to 6/12/2013 - Don't cry for me ... it has been a wonderful life. I was blessed with two of the finest parents a person could have - Samuel and Bessie Norris. Great siblings - brothers Burt and Arnie and sister Arlene. I was unbelievably fortunate to find two women to marry, who in spite of my craziness, still loved me - Joan and Jan. I had six children whom I loved all the time and liked most of the time - sons Dean, Mark and Craig, and daughters, Courtney, Sarah and Kate. Ten wonderful grandchildren whom I loved all the time - Cory, Lee, Skyler, Isabella, Mason, Mariel, Katie, Charlie, Sebastien and Maximilien. Daughters-in-law and sons-in-law who were very dear to me - Missy, Cathy, Jody, Russell, David, Joe and Nicolas. Some of the finest friends any human being could ask for. I had wonderful jobs teaching and coaching at Pontiac High School, Pontiac, MI, and 40 years at Trinity University. Looking back at all these blessings, how can one possibly feel sorry? At my request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
