Born in Edinburg, Texas. He was the 1st born son to Epigmenio Jasso Sr and Magarita Jasso. He graduated from Edinburg high school in 1951 and then went to Pan Regional College in Edinburg, Texas. After attending college for a short while, he decided to leave school to help his parents support and raise his younger siblings.
He was employed with HB Zachary in the late 1960’s as a building estimator. He was proud of the fact that he worked on the fastening system that joined the rooms together of the Hotel Palacio del Rio that was built just in time for the World’s fair in 1968. He later owned his own construction company called Jamar Construction. Over the years he worked as a building estimator for different construction companies.
He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. He was baptized and joined the church in August of 2020. He was the social link between his family and his extended family in the valley. He was “Facebook” before it was ever invented. He enjoyed golf, dominos, cards, socializing and watching the Dallas Cowboys Football games. He will be remembered for being an Incredible Father, Brother and Uncle and cousin to his many family members.
He is survived by his children Monica Hack (Gary) Jeffrey Jasso (Sonia) step daughters Catherine Galvan and Karin Lozano (John).
Grandchildren Lincoln and Reagan Nueman, Mae Adela Jasso and Cynthia Carolina Beeza. He was predeceased by his parents Epigmenio Jasso Sr and Magarita Jasso and brother Ernest Jasso.
The visitation will be held on Thursday Sept 21, 2023 from 5-7pm Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas and a rosary at 7:00 pm by Deacon Reynaldo Jasso.
