Encarnacion was born on May 20, 1936 in Hobson, Texas to Encarnacion and Maltide (Serenil) Molina. He had three brothers and three sisters who he loved very much.
Encarnacion met his wife, Rosalinda at a dance in Floresville, Texas. Shortly after that they were married in September of 1966 and had two daughters, Teresa and Stephanie.
He was a loving husband and Father. But most of all his greatest title was “Popo” to his grandchildren. As a child, Chon loved the sport of baseball and in 2018, he was overjoyed when he attended a Houston Astros games with his grandsons. His love and Faith in God showed all the time and he attended mass regularly at St. Lawrence Catholic Church as a chartered member. His Faith in God was passed down to his family and forever will be our hearts. He loved his grandchildren completely and was a taxi driver to many events for many years until he couldn’t anymore.
Chon was predeceased by his parents, Encarnacion and Matilde, his two brothers, “Andrew “and “Mage”, and sister “Veva”. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalinda, of 54 years, daughters, Teresa Garcia (Michael) and Stephanie (Jorge) Riojas. He is also survived by his grandchildren who he loved unconditionally, Brianna, Zachary and Seth. He is also survived by three sisters, Agripina Martinez, Sally Coronado, and Mary Rodriguez. His memory will live forever.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A celebration of life mass will be on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. His final resting place will be at San Jose Burial Park.
