Emma had a wonderfully unique sense of humor and was considered the life of the party. She always had everyone laughing. She was an amazing storyteller as well—her granddaughters, April and Meagan, were always eager to listen, even if they had heard the story before. Emma enjoyed writing poetry and has even had some of her works published. Her talents also extended to the kitchen; she was an excellent cook! Most importantly, Emma had a kind, loving heart and always placed everyone’s needs before her own, especially when it came to her children. She embodied the true definition of a mom.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, son, Tito M. Ramirez, sister, Shirl Hacker, brother, Ricky Gabbard, and former husband, Jose C. Ramirez. She is survived by her son, Joey Ramirez, daughters, Jessica Ramirez and Melissa Patterson (Keith), granddaughters, April and Meagan Hernandez, and sister, Sheila King, as well as the many other family members and friends who will miss her.
