Elvira M. Flores, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, entered rest on December 8, 2010 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her son, Enrique Carrasco; brothers, Gilbert, Frank and Eddie Mendez. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Manuel Flores; children: Olga Stafford and husband James E. Stafford, Celia Lomas, Reyes Carrasco, Larry Gonzalez and wife Kimberly; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters: Vicenta Garcia, Amelia Herrera, Minnie Delgado, Feliz Garcia, Angie Bowling, Sandra Ortega, Mary Alice Garcia and Olivia Ramirez; brother, Seferino Mendez; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park Cemetery.
