Mrs Ellen Arlene Bell

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl A. Hall, Lillian B. Hall and brother Donald Hall.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ralph E. Bell of San Antonio; daughter Lynne Vandewalle and husband Kurt and son Greg Romines;daughter:JoDee Romines Saunders: step daughters Eugenia Tunstall; Sara Lundquist and husband John, and Rebecca Kavanaugh; Twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Arlene resided in San Antonio for much of her life and worked in the higher education industry assisting students with financial aid.

Arlene was a very creative and talented artist expressing her art through painting and sewing. She was an avid painter of still life, loved quilting, crocheting, cross-stitch and sewing beautiful dresses for her granddaughters.

Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time with her grandchildren, studying family history, cooking and watching the San Antonio Spurs!

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at Sunset North Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM followed by a celebration of life on Thursday, January 8th at 10:00 AM.
