Elizabeth Mata, 69, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2017. Elizabeth was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on October 16, 1947 to Juan and Maria Chavez. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Guillermo Chavez, Paul Chavez, Felipe Chavez, and Encarnacion Chavez, and sister, Katarina Gomez. Elizabeth is survived by her loving children, Vickie Mata, Rachel Ramirez, and David Mata; siblings, Trina Muniz, Santos Coca, Carlos Chavez, Juan Chavez, Rachel Gallegos, and Jessie Chavez; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 12:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Chapel, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas.
