It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elisa Inouye Stewart, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 91. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Elisa's life was a testament to strength, service, and love for her family and community.

Elisa was born on February 19, 1933, and grew up with a deep sense of duty and compassion. She honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, a reflection of her courage and dedication. After her service, Elisa worked at Kelly Air Force Base and later at Frost Bank, where she built a legacy of hard work, integrity, and devotion to those around her.

Elisa was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rebecca Stewart. She is survived by her grandson Guadalupe Stewart, daughter-in-law Candace Stewart, and her cherished great-grandchildren: Hannah, Sebastian, Edward, Addison, Abbygale, Emma, and Finn Stewart.

Elisa will be remembered for her kindness, unwavering support of her family, and her quiet strength. Her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A graveside service for Elisa will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
