Elena M. Sanchez born July 22, 1924, passed away to be with our Lord on July 13, 2017 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond D. Sanchez, parents, Alejando & Juanita Muniz and sisters, Frances Abrigo and Ofelia Aleman. She is survived by her children, Guinnevere Bates (Bufford), Gloria Sanchez, Raymond Sanchez, Jr., grandchildren, Marivel Olguin, Veronica Munoz (Edgar), Brenda Jean Contreras (Luis), Jennifer Marie Sanchez, Rocky Anthony Sanchez (Yesenia), Eric Daniel Sanchez, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and brothers, Mariano Muniz and Ernest Muniz. Elena is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at San Fernando II Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd., 78237 at 10:00 A.M.
