Eleanor Vera Davies, “The World’s Caregiver”, entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2010 at the age of 92. Mrs. Davies was born on January 23, 1918 in Royal Oak, Michigan and raised in England. In 1959, she returned to the United States with her husband and two children. She was the proud entrepreneur of two gift shops in Florida. She always enjoyed working and talking with people, and had a passion for helping people and animals. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, David Rees Davies; daughter, June Levine and her husband Robert; son, Roger Davies; and grandchildren, Kimberley Levine and Paul Levine. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
