Edward (Eddie) Ramirez passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico on July 4, 1947 to his parents, the late Eduardo and Irene Ramirez. He lived in many places, such as Nashville, Tennessee, San Francisco, California, and Albuquerque, New Mexico before deciding to settle here in San Antonio. He had a passion for family, history, movies, music, travel, computers, and dogs. Eddie was a loving and witty person, and he will be remembered, forever and always, for how deeply he cared for others.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Gregg Ramirez; and his son, Edward Ramirez Jr.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Dalia Ramirez; his daughters, Melissa and Vanessa; 5 grandchildren; his sister, Elva Mesquiti (Alfred) and family; and his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who adored and admired his being.
The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Saturday, May 25th from 5 PM to 9 PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home - 515 N. Main Ave. 78205 - with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7 PM.
