Eduardo Barrera Solis Sr., went to be with our Lord February 18, 2020. Eduardo was born in Kenedy, Texas, on August 31, 1951, to Mr. Ramon G. Solis Sr., and Mrs. Maclovia B. Solis. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, his niece: Gloria Solis and son-in-law: Marcelino Gomez. Eduardo is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight and a half years: Herlinda L. Solis; children: Eduardo L. Solis Jr. (Juanita), Rose Ann L. Solis-Gomez, and Ginette L. Solis Huizar (Bruno); grandchildren: Sophia Olivia Cuellar Huizar, Jeremy Alexander Huizar, Aidan James Huizar, and Marcelino Eduardo Solis-Gomez; siblings: Ramon Solis Jr. (Minnie), Adelina Silva, and Jose Luis Solis (Eloise); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, on Monday, February 24, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (El Carmen) Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
