Dorothy Morilak, nee Kisha, born on April 6, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 in San Antonio, TX. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, John Kisha, mother, Thresa Kisha (nee Buranich), sister Elizabeth Spiwak, brother Michael Kisha, and the “love of her life” and darling husband of 61 years, Andrew John Morilak. She is survived by her son David Andrew Morilak, his wife Susan and children Nicole and Matthew, daughter Deborah Jeanne O’Leary, her husband Jeff and children Samantha and Nicholas, and son Daniel Paul Morilak, his wife Fran and children Jessica and Jacob. Dorothy was an avid dog lover, and her wall was covered with pictures of all her past puppies. She volunteered for many years at the Parma Animal Shelter, always ready to rescue the lost cause to give them a warm home where they were beloved. She loved her Cavs, and then her adopted Spurs. For the 5 years she spent in San Antonio, she was the notorious ringleader of the “couch crew” at The William, and was always ready to launch into a quick polka step, let loose with a snappy nursery rhyme, or belt out a few bars of her favorite Neil Diamond song. See ya later alligator!
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio TX, 78218, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
