Donna Snyder

On July 19, 2017, our beautiful mother and grandmother “Memaw” passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in San Antonio, TX. Donna was born in Wareham, Massachusetts.

She is preceded in death by her father, Elbert Haymaker, her mother, Francis Mazzerole. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Stocker and husband Robert, her son Jay Snyder and wife, Rebecca, her two grandsons Jordan Stocker and James Stocker, her brother, George Haymaker and wife Marie and cousins Linda Costa and Patty Costa.

Donna grew up in New Bedford, MA and moved to Wareham where she raised her two children. After a move to Florida, she relocated to San Antonio to be with her daughter, son-in-law and her two grandsons that were the center of her universe. Anyone that knew Donna, knew she lived and breathed for her grandsons. She couldn’t wait to share the latest stories about them. No matter what the weather, Memaw did not miss a game her grandsons played in. She was proud beyond measure of them.

Donna brought such joy to the people that knew her. She will forever be known for her selflessness, gentleness, thoughtfulness and compassion. Special thanks to her home health physical therapist, Danny Canalas, who worked these last two months helping her to gain just a little independence to enjoy before going home to Jesus. We cannot thank you enough.
