MSGT Don Combs, Retired U.S. A.F, age 78, passed away March 27, 2015. He was born on March 27, 1937 in Maysville, Kentucky to Howard and Beatrice Combs. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Reynolds and Johnny Combs. Don retired from the military after over 20 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Combs; son, Donald Combs II; daughter, Susan Lay and husband Steve; grandchildren, Leslie Pineda and husband Rick, Shannon Huffman, Kathleen Huffman, Trey Combs, Kyle Ramos and wife Megan, Regina Hohman and husband Phil; brothers, Ronald Combs and wife Nancy, Denny Combs; sisters, Helen Combs and Dorotha Adair; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road.
