She was the oldest of 13 children. She was married to Diego Lopez and had 7 children
Diana Roberts, Michael Lopez, Delia Beltran, Dolores Jewell, Richard Lopez, Debra Robertson and Sandi Stenson. She also raised 8 adopted children along with her own, Sherry Krupalla, Roger Krupalla, Cheryl Krupalla, Charlie Krupalla, Victor Krupalla, Manuel Alcoser and Pauline Alcoser. As the matriarch of the family she accomplished a monumental task of raising, protecting and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of her children above all that her family's needs were tended to and cared for. She raised all 15 kids in the house our father Diego Lopez built. She also helped raised numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dolores was a beautiful, nurturing & hard-working religious woman who always put her children's needs ahead of her own. She was an inspiration to us all and selflessly gave her time and energy to teach us, encourage us and guide us in life. She had gentle nature about her as she listened and guided us through life with her monumental strength and was admired for her noble qualities.
She had a saying " Si Dios Quiere" If God Wills", that she used to say often to us when we were looking for answers in life.
Extraordinary Dolores will be remembered as a heroine with tremendous capacity to care, love, protect and nurture not only her own children but also those of others while being strong-willed in the face of her challenging role in motherhood!
You will always be loved and remembered dear mother! May you find solace in the Kingdom of Heaven!
