David C. Salazar

David C. Salazar was delivered into Gods loving arms and entered into his new life on February 9, 2014 at his home at the age of 57. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Catherine A. Salazar, his children Michelle, Michael, Nicole and husband Abraham, and four grandchildren. Brothers Jimmy and wife Veronica, Johnny and wife Donna and many nieces and nephews. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and amazing friend to all who knew him, and will be dearly missed. He graduated from Burbank High School in 1974, where he was a multi-sport athlete. He pursued his love for baseball through various fast pitch teams around the San Antonio area, where he met and married Cathy, and formed life long friendships that continue to this day. David loved sports, trips to the beach, gambling and most of all being surrounded by his family and friends. Thank you for all the love and support, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

SERVICES:

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 5:00PM with rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home - 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238.

Gravesite service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00AM at Holy Cross Cemetery - 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.
