David A. Garza, 53, of San Antonio, passed away August 3, 2021. He was born in San Antonio, TX on December 9, 1967 to Amelia Salazar and Benigno Garza. He was married to Jennifer Garcia. David worked for Zachry construction for a number of years, as well as working in autobody mechanics. He had a passion for building model cars, drawing, and always loved being outdoors...his smile and beautiful green eyes were contagious and had enough love and laughter to fill any room. His most cherished thing in the world was spending time with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved more than life itself.
He was preceded in death by his father Benigno Francisco Garza Sr and sister Catherine D. Garza.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Garcia; mother Amelia S. Garza; sons David Albert Garza Jr, Jeremy Albert Garza and Justin Alan Garza; daughter Shelby Ann Garcia; brother Francisco Benigno Garza Jr and Roger Edward Garza; and his sister Patricia Ann Ballesteros.
A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:30 AM at First Memorial Park Cemetery, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, TX 78073.
