David Kevin Brown, age 50 passed away April 26, 2011 following a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Morton E. (Ernie) Brown and grandparents Fay and Chester Long. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Stacie Brown, his son, Tyler Cameron Brown, mother, Jeanette E. Brown, sister, Linda E. Brown, father and mother-in-law Stan and Carol Silvus, and other family members and friends, including Jennifer Schroeder, Julie Majck, Jeff Long, Barbara Kretschmar, and Bill Snooks. David graduated from Texas A & M University and is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He has participated in Boy Scouts, both as a child and as a father. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6800 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78229 at 6:00 pm.
