Daniel R. Tellez Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Sr. and Carmelita Ramirez Téllez and brothers, Ramiro Tellez and Noe Tellez.

He is survived by his children, Dominique Danielle Tellez-Dunn and husband Eric and Daniel Ray Tellez III and wife Michelle; siblings, Saul Tellez and wife Sylvia, Carlos Tellez and wife Pat, Chris Tellez and wife Hope, Noe Tellez and wife Claudia and Noel Tellez and wife Reyna; grandchildren, Tristan and Danika Tellez and his adoring nieces and nephews.

Daniel (JR) was an accomplished welder / mechanic and carpenter. But if you asked him what his greatest accomplishments were he would say being a father - grandfather, a Brother and a son , a friend and always most importantly a helping hand . He loved working on many custom projects and would often make things for his friends and family. He loved listening to K-Love and Country music. He was a selfless human and would put everyone’s needs before his own . As long as his family was happy that made him happy . He loved the outdoors especially summers at Garner State Park camping under the stars. He made his lifetime about his family . Daniel will be dearly missed by his children & family forever.

A visitation for Daniel will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. On Monday, April 24, 2023, Funeral procession will depart Trevino Funeral Home at 10:30 pm for a Graveside Service at Cristo Rey Cemetery in Cotulla, Texas at 12:30 pm.
