He was born on February 3, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Demetrio and Feliz (Rivas) Gomez.
Daniel graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1954 and attended St Mary's University. He retired after a long career in the Banking industry.
Daniel was actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
In his free time he enjoyed music, playing the trumpet and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his wife LaNell, daughter Diane, sons Edward, Michael, David and sister Gloria Esparza.
The family is receiving friends on Thursday, December 27 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 7:00 pm and sharing of memories will begin at 8:00 pm.
