Dana Marie Long, age 51, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She had a love for reading books. She was dedicated to caring for dogs and cats, providing them with the love and attention they so deserved. Dana had a special passion for bringing smiles to children’s faces through her generous spirit. Every year, she participated in the Angel Tree program, ensuring that countless children received gifts that filled their hearts with joy during the holiday season. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Dana is survived by her parents, Douglas and Patricia Ann Long, brother, Christopher Long, aunts, Mary Cole, Lynn Hutchins, Gloria Merriman and numerous friends.
Visitation for Dana will be Friday October 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio TX 78211. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
