in the comfort of her home.
Cynthia was born January 1st, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas. She was the oldest and only
surviving of her siblings, all of whom passed away in infancy. Cynthia was educated in the San
Antonio school system, graduating High school in 1964.
Cynthia has two sons. Her oldest son, Steven Patrick Forrester, born in 1964 from her first
marriage to Dennis Hough. Her second son, James Joseph Forrester, born 1976 from her
second marriage to James Homer Forrester.
Cynthia’s work career was exclusively in Civil Service to the United States. She worked at Kelly
Air Force Base for over 30 years.
Cynthia loved all animals, bingo, socializing with her friends and spending time with family.
Visiting her relatives in the Austin/Pflugerville area always brought her joy. Recently she was
blessed with the opportunity to re-engage with extended family from her fathers side.
She also enjoyed the research of genealogy. She had mentioned recently, that though the
branch of our tree may feel small, the roots are strong.
In her youth, she enjoyed rockhounding for quartz crystals in Arkansas. She used these crystals
in her crafting hobbies and as decorative gifts to many of us. Her tastes in music led her to
enjoy the birth of rock and roll with Elvis Presley and country/western artists such as Roy
Orbison and Augie Meyers.Though her taste in music was generationally bound, she was open
to many genres and cultures of music. This was necessitated by raising her two boys, both of
whom brought unique music to her home from their generations.
Cynthia is survived by her two children, Steven with wife Michelle and James with wife Jerry.
She was proud to have loved her four grandchildren.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com for the Forrester family.
