He was preceded in death by his beloved parents Martha & Celestino Medina and brother Celestino Medina Jr.. Mr. Medina is survived by his sons, Crispin Medina Jr. & wife Lizbeth and Eric Medina & wife to be Maria Castro; his siblings, Anita & husband Juan Ramos, Esther & Husband Richard Peña, Roger Medina, Rosemary & husband Paul Flores, and Gracie Medina; his grandchildren, Johnathon A. Medina, Serina Medina, Sierra Medina and Lucas Medina.
Mr. Medina was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He assisted in the Cambodian evacuation while enlisted in the United States Navy (1973-1976). After his enlistment he continued his service to the country as a civilian. He served over 35 years as a civil servant at Kelly AFB and Tinker AFB where he retired in 2012. Crispin received numerous civilian achievement awards, to include civilian of the year.
He was committed to his family and helping people in need. Mr. Medina was a person of faith and lived life serving others. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. Mr. Medina will truly be missed.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on Cupples Road, at 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary and Chapel Service at 7:00p.m. A Memorial Service will celebrated on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2:45p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery where service will conclude.
