Connie H. Fernandez

Connie H. Fernandez, 78, of San Antonio, passed away December 09, 2020. She was born in San Antonio, TX on September 17, 1942 to Julio C. Hernandez Sr. and Maria Martinez. She was married to Jose Gonzalez for 20 years. Connie had a career in physical therapy and ophthalmology for University Health System. She had a passion for singing, dancing, playing the guitar, and recreational gambling.

She was preceded in death by her youngest son Jeffrey T. Fernandez, her parents, Julio and Maria Hernandez, her brothers, Julio Hernandez Jr. and Richard M. Hernandez and her sister Minerva H. Morin.

She is survived by her oldest son Kenneth E. Fernandez; her husband, Jose Gonzalez; her sister Hortencia Obadal; her brothers Alonzo Hernandez Sr. and Rudy Hernandez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family will be receiving guest for a Visitation on Monday December 21, 2020 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 11 am at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. Followed by a interment at San Fernando II Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
