He was always curious about things long forgotten. He was somewhat of a history buff with extensive knowledge of man’s history. He loved to write poetry and could go on quite lengthy discussions about great philosophical mysteries. He was certainly a deep thinker and always added well thought out insights to any conversation. He had a significant interest in science fiction and fantasy genres and spent many years of his life engaged in video games enjoying titles from the original Atari, Nintendo, and PC games throughout his life. One of his favorites in the video game world was the Fallout Universe, and he religiously played them all. He was a true gamer, someone who grew up in the 80’s with a video game controller in his hand. He was also involved in the LARP (Live Action Roll Playing) community for many years, among other live action role playing communities in the area. Clay also enjoyed reading and took special interest in Stephen King novels. Clay was a facet of many internet communities over the years. He was deeply involved in internet-based communities and had a global network of friends with whom he kept up. He was known as a bit of a night owl, usually active while the rest of the world slept. He loved to eat great food, and especially enjoyed fish and Asian food such as Thai and Sushi. Clay was a kind, gentle, and humble man with a good heart. His life wasn’t without challenges, However, he always seemed to get himself through them. Clay’s life was just getting to a point where he had carved out a peaceful niche for himself, having solved most of his short and long-term challenges and life goals when his life abruptly ended a bit too soon. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and while he fought hard to stay with us a bit longer, he went to be with his Lord at 1:37 PM on Tuesday December 11, 2018.
