Christopher Charles West

Christopher Charles West went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2017. Christopher was born on December 27, 1986 to his parents Brandon West and Kimberly Rainbolt in San Antonio Texas. He was a graduate of Cy-Fair High School in Houston, Texas and joined the Army four years later. Christopher served four years in the army and served in South Korea. While stationed at Ft. Hood, Christopher met and married Courtney Coffman in 2010. Christopher and Courtney had two children, Aiden Jaymes "AJ" and Tyler Preston. After retiring from the army, Christopher resided in San Antonio, Texas until his passing.

Christopher was a generous, kindhearted, loving man who loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, siblings Shelby, Zackery, Joseph, and Anita, grandparents Sharon West and Joyce and Kenneth Railbolt and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Patrick West, Grandmother Jeri West, and Uncle Samuel "Tuki" West.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or send a living plant for the family to keep in memory of Christopher.
