Christopher Nicholson, age 43, passed away suddenly in Buda, Texas close to his dearly beloved home. He was the only child of Diane Blizzard and Timothy Nicholson. He was a loving son, grandson, and friend to so many who will dearly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berlin and Berniece Millsapps of San Antonio, Texas and Charles and Berniece Horowitz of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Diane and Frank Blizzard and his father Timothy Nicholson.
Chris graduated from Alamo Heights High School and attended San Antonio College. He then pursued his musical interests and graduated from Media Tech Institute in Austin, Texas. He spent many years working as a Disc Jockey and operating laser lights for various shows in the Austin and San Antonio area. Music was his life, and he loved audio mixing and creating music of his own.
Chris was remembered by everyone for having a big heart, and always being there for those who were in need. He lived his life to the fullest: loving his music, his dogs, and his friends and family. Adventurous and fun-loving, he was never afraid to try anything new. He loved working on his property and spending time outdoors with his animals. When he was not on the move, he recently found joy in fishing at a local spot near his home.
There will be a memorial in his honor at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home located at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas. The service and reception will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Saturday May 6, 2023. The family is grateful that the service will be led by his step-brother, Father Charles Blizzard.
The family appreciates those who travelled long distances to be with us today.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com for the Nicholson family.
