Charles Gonzalez Castillo

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter: Erica Castillo Avalos and her husband Tom and his daughter, Mary Elana Castillo. He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia Garza and her husband George. Charlie also leaves behind a number of cousins, close friends, and former co-workers at SAWS.

Charlie retired from San Antonio Water Systems after 35 years of dedicated service. He started as a meter reader and ended as Senior Field Service Representative. He was a kind and friendly person to everyone he met. If you were to run into Charlie anywhere, you would be greeted with a friendly smile and a warm handshake. Some people have said that they ran into him at a restaurant and without telling them, he would pay for their meal. We will all cherish our wonderful memories of this wonderful man in our hearts. Charlie was a loving father, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
