Carla Mueller Hernandez

Born on November 10, 1965 in Saint Joseph, Missouri, Carla graduated from Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas. She went to nursing school before deciding to pursue a modeling career, dazzling in print ads. At Alliance Data Systems Carla found her niche, working there for thirty-one years.

Carla loved spending time with her family and her cat Tyler. A beloved daughter, Carla cheered her parents, Carol and Herman (Ed), with daily phone calls. Each holiday she festively adorned their home, using her penchant for crafting to create beautiful decorations. A doting sister and aunt, Carla deeply cared for her brother, Mark, sister-in-law, Melanie, and their children, Emily and Ethan. She was especially proud of her son, Kyle, and looked forward to seeing him complete his Ph.D.

Carla was preceded in death by her brother, Kurt Mueller. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, in San Antonio, Texas, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12th at the Sunset Funeral Chapel at 12 PM. Carla will be interred alongside her brother at Sunset Memorial Park following the Funeral Service.
