With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Carla Raquel Dunlap, a beloved daughter, mother, and friend. Born on December 3, 1981, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Ronald and Maria Dean, Carla brought light and joy into the lives of everyone she met.
Carla grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she was blessed to form meaningful, lifelong friendships. From an early age, her creativity and love for penmanship shone brightly, as she found joy in writing to-do lists, completing small projects, and expressing herself through artful tasks. Her heart was always set on creating beauty and order in her world.
A devoted and loving mother, Carla adored her two daughters, Yreisha and Anaika Dunlap, who were her greatest pride and joy. She poured her heart into every moment with them, teaching them strength, love, and the importance of never giving up.
Carla had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures—traveling to new places, reminiscing about her childhood memories, and sharing laughter with her loved ones. She found joy in cooking and trying new foods, cherishing the smiles and happiness she brought to others through her meals.
A true testament to resilience and faith, Carla was a hard worker who always reached for the stars. Even in the face of challenges, she never gave up, leaning on her strength and trust in God to carry her through. Her laughter, creativity, and unwavering determination will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
Carla now joins her beloved mother, Maria Dean, in heaven, where they are reunited in God’s eternal presence. We find comfort in knowing that she is watching over us, waiting to greet us again in glory.
She is survived by her father, Ronald Dean; her daughters, Yreisha and Anaika Dunlap; and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
