Betty Snyder passed with peace and grace on March 1, 2022. Predeceased by her loving husband Alvin and daughter Karen Kay Snyder in 2015. Survived by daughter Barbara Snyder Saathoff (Brent), son Randy Snyder (Cindy), grandson Sean Saathoff (Ellen), granddaughter Anna Saathoff (fiancé Calab Yoder), sister Dorthy Berryman, brother Joe Rains, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty graduated from Coleman High School, Coleman, Texas. She attended San Antonio College and UTSA. She retired from USAA as a service representative in 1993.
Betty was a faithful member of her church until she could no longer attend. She was a remarkable artist, seamstress, cook and baker. She made beautiful dresses for special events for the girls in her family. She assisted in making costumes for the theatre productions at the Northeast School of the Arts. She had a love for music, especially Hymns and was self-taught in the piano and organ.
Betty will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, dear friend and whose greatest passion was helping others. She was also a huge advocate in caring for her disabled daughter Karen for almost 60 years.
The family wishes to thank Discovery Village, Morning Side Ministries and Embrace Hospice for all the special care they gave to her.

The Snyder Family will be receiving guests for Betty on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 E., San Antonio, Texas 78232, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
