Aurora M. Chavez

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Chavez and a son, Richard Paul Chavez. Aurora is survived by her children, Sandra Moreno, David Chavez, and Cynthia Ruiz; grandchildren, Patricia (Alex) Arriaga, Ruth (Thomas Rodriguez) Moreno, Gregory (Maria) Ruiz III, Michael (Jenny) Ruiz, and Joseph Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Adriana (Joshua) Gonzalez, Lucio Antonio Arriaga, Samuel Rodriguez, Juliet Arriaga, Joshua Ruiz, Noah Ruiz, Hannah Ruiz and Mikayla Ruiz; great-great-granddaughter, Carolina Gonzalez

Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria on Wednesday October 23, 2024 beginning at 6:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm.

The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 11:00 am for a 11:30am funeral mass on October 24, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam National cemetery.

The family would like to thank Doctors and Nurses at Wilford Hall. At BAMC 4West Orthopedic Staff, 3East Progressive Care Unit, Doctors and Nurses, Clergy Staff and especially Jennifer L. Furlow, Social Worker for her kindness. Also EMS personnel from Fire Station #27 for their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
