Arturo Hernandez Perez Jr. passed away on August 30, 2020 at the age of 72. Born in San Antonio, Texas on November 12, 1947, he is preceded in death by his parents, Arturo Perez Sr. and Trinidad Hernandez Perez; and his brothers, Gilbert and Albert.
Arturo is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa Marie; his children, Eugene and Denise; his step-children, Chris and Matthew; his grandchildren, Samantha, Lyrissa and TJ; his great-grandchildren, Daniella, Alexander, Amari and Kai; his sisters, Yolanda, Lydia, Diana, Joanne, Paula and Carol; and his numerous extended family and friends who loved him.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to only 50 people in the building. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.
The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on September 15 from 5 PM to 9 PM. A Procession will depart from the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, September 16 and arrive at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church – 6150 Roft Rd. 78253 – for a Rosary to be recited at 11:00 AM, and the Mass to begin at 11:30 AM. The Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. 78209 – will be a private gathering at this time. The staff appreciate your understanding.
