Angelita A. Vasquez

Angelita A. Vasquez, born on August 12, 1928 went to be with our Lord on July 13, 2019, at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Simon H. Vasquez; parents, Nicolas and Teofila Aguilar; son, Simon A. Vasquez, Jr.; siblings, Petra, Lucinda and Susie. Angelita is survived by her loving children, Clara Thompson, Frances Martinez (Raymond), Gloria Romero (Luciano), Olga Estrada and Jose Vasquez; 19 adoring grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; siblings, Miguel Aguilar, Nicolas Aguilar Jr., and Rosa Chavera; numerous nieces and nephews. Angelita enjoyed playing bingo, coloring, gardening and was part of the Special Olympics. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
