Alyssa was a hard working student, during high school she belonged to the Ronald Regan High School Band becoming an accomplished clarinet player. Later she attended the Texas State University while also working as a barista for Starbucks. During her time at Texas State University she joined their running club as running was a passion of hers, along with enjoying nature while camping, swimming or skateboarding.
Alyssa had an amazing vibrant soul who loved painting, listening to music, going to concerts, dancing, singing, exploring thrift shops and reading books. She thrived expressing her creativity through cooking, painting with water colors, drawing and sketching, playing guitar, crocheting and especially colorful hair sometimes even shaving it.
She absolutely loved to make people laugh and had this amazing quick wit, always looking for moments to be silly. But the time she spent with her family was her favorite activity above all, whether it was playing Minecraft with her sister, sitting outside with her dogs or playing games with friends and family.
Alyssa leaves behind her loving family; her mother Yvonne M. Evangelista, father Allen D. Byrd, her sisters Caitlyn M. Byrd and Brianna L. Ramos, and her favorite dogs Kahlua and Shamu. Her grandparents; John (Seph) Evangelista (grandfather), Winnie Evangelista (grandmother), Jean Murphy (grandmother), and Archie D. Byrd (grandfather). Along with her extended family; James (Amy) Evangelista (uncle), Becky Evangelista (aunt), John, Jr. Evangelista (uncle) and Lynna Lynch (aunt). Her cousins Zachary Evangelista and Jolani Villamor, along with so many friends.
