Almena Veronica Cade was born in Slidell, LA on January 13, 1948 to Virgil and Irma Faciane and entered into eternal rest on Monday June 11, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Dillon Joshua Cade. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Nelson L. Cade, Sr; sons, Nelson L. Cade, Jr., Damon John Cade and his wife, Kimberly, Jason Andre Cade and his wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Nelson L. Cade III, Matthew Cade, Tumaini Cade, Christian Cade; Siblings, Irene Narcisse, Brenda Rose, Delores Shuford, Charles Faciane. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
