Rosa Cervantz, 67, resident of Abilene, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Hendrick Medical Center. She was born in San Angelo on September 17, 1945 to Margarito Perez and Reyes Nava. She is survived by one brother, Jose Perez of San Angelo and one sister, Lucia Sepeda of Sweetwater. She also had three children: Anthony Cervantez of Lufkin, Texas, Catherine Vaughn of Abilene and Michael Cervantez of Abilene. She had eight grandchildren whom she adored: Aaron, Amy, and
Alex Cervantez; Steven and Shaun Vaughn; and Alyssa, Kandyce, and Jaclyn Cervantez. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Alfredo S. Cervantez Jr. on February 19, 1992. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Holy Angels Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
