Mary Victoria Johnson, 84, of Christoval died Thursday, May 05, 2011 in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, May 7th in Ivy Cemetery in Christoval. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home
Mary was born May 31, 1926 in Mills County, Texas to Walter Chester and Lucy Pearl (Hardman) Henry. She was retired from the accounting department with GTE.
Mary was married to Walter Melvin Johnson on June 30, 1942 in Dallas, TX. He preceded her in death on August 26, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons Richard and Billy Johnson and one daughter Sue Hodges.
Survivors include son Dan Johnson and wife Pat of Christoval; daughter Wanda VanDeman and husband Ken of San Angelo; brother John Henry; sisters Oleta Cox, Thelma Mays and Rita Mason; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
