Karen Marie Hord, 64, of San Angelo, Texas, died in San Angelo under the care of Hospice on November 9th, 2024.
She was born in Pecos, Texas to Joe Kelly and Thelma Hillin and raised by her Aunt Lela Nance and Uncle Pete Nance. Karen attended The University of Texas at Austin before marrying Ronnie Hord. Karen and Ronny were married on May 29, 1982, and had two sons, Ronald Ian and Kelly Shea. Karen helped Ronny build their family business while raising their two sons.
Karen was preceded in death by Ronald Ian Hord in 2004, and Ronny Hord in 2021. She is survived by her son Kelly Shea Hord, wife Briana Hord, and their two children Violet Mae and Augustus Shea.
Visitation for Karen will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Johnson’s Funeral Home from 5 pm-7 pm. Graveside service will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 2pm on Friday, November 15,2024.
