John H. Walker Jr. Age 83 of San Angelo, Texas died Sunday April 16, 2017, at the Robert Lee Care Center. John was born in Balmorhea, Texas, to John H. Walker Sr. and Anna Jewel Walker. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany. John married Rena Kay Munn on Dec. 31, 1959, in Kermit, Texas. He graduated from Wayland Baptist College in 1973 and became a Baptist Preacher.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 54 years and his son-in-law David Sparks.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Max Walker and his wife Mary of Albany, Texas; son Roby Walker and his wife Melissa, their children Heather and Ryan of San Angelo; and daughter; Lori Sparks and her daughters, Bailee and Kylie of Haslet, Texas.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Graveside service is at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
