Jesús Gabriel López, 43, of San Angelo passed away on August 15, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas to Hector Lopez and Juanita Proa. Jesús is survived by his wife, Delia, who he married on April 15, 2006. They created a beautifully blended family and he leaves behind his children Jeneska, Malleny, Karla, Jorge, Jesus, Daniel, his grandson Gabriel, and his granddaughter Sofia, who is expected to arrive in January 2024. He was the youngest sibling of six. He is also survived by his three older brothers and two older sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family.
He had a rough start in life but even through all the hardships endured he managed to create a beautiful life for his family. He was an example of an extremely hard working, loving, strong and hardheaded man who was humble and down to earth. He was an amazing husband to his wife but an even better father to his children. Life with him was always filled with funny moments, good laughs, loving memories, and important life lessons. One of his greatest passions in life was soccer, a passion that he shared with his children, Karla, Jorge, Jesus Jr. and Daniel. Jesus not only played soccer throughout his childhood and adulthood, but he also cultivated the love of the sport within his children throughout training sessions and quality family time.
Throughout his life he also accomplished many milestones throughout his career. Jesus started working at the young age of fourteen years old shearing sheep. Jesus moved to work in various factories in which he quickly rose through the ranks to obtain a position within management. It was during this time that he met his wife Delia. He later moved forward with obtaining his CDL drivers license. After 10 years of driving experience, Jesus obtained his greatest accomplishment yet of owning his own company, D & J Trucking, LLC three years ago.
Jesus’ life was filled with many life battles that he conquered and managed to push through with great strength. Jesus was always in a silly and goofy mood, at times a little temperamental, but he never stopped moving forward with life. Jesus proved his strength to the very end of his life. He leaves behind a great legacy within his children as he will never be forgotten. His memory will live on through them as his life lessons and advice will be passed down through generations. He was called home too soon but we are grateful for the memories left behind. He will be deeply missed by those he encountered in life as he always left an impression.
