Jean Cadle Davis

Jean Cadle Davis of San Angelo passed away on September 14, 2022. She was born on May 24, 1942 in London, England to Kathleen Hertherington and William John Cadle. Jean attended Dudden Grammar and High School, graduating in the class of 1959. She went on to begin her career in the Retail industry, working for Waitrose for many years as a Manager. In America Jean cared for MHMR patients and was an ombudsman for the state. Jean married Brian Salter on January 6, 1962 and had one daughter Susan. Jean immigrated to America in 1994 where she married the love of her life Tom Davis April 19, 1997 and enjoyed 25 years of happy marriage. Jean was a proud supporter of veterans. She also cared for stray animals. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Tom Davis; her daughter Susan Baulos and husband Robert; step children John Everett Davis and wife Lori and Thomas Royal Davis and wife Amanda and numerous grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home with interment to follow in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation to Concho Valley Paws or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Travis Monday for conducting this funeral.
