Grady Richard O'Neal

Grady Richard O'Neal, 82 of San Angelo, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6, 2017. He was born in Blum, Texas on November 1, 1935. Grady graduated from Whitney High School. He was married to Janice Lougenia Beasley on June 18, 1961. Grady had a career in the United States Air Force for twenty-one years retiring in 1977. He then began a career working for Ethicon and retiring in 1998. He was a member of Southgate Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for several years. He had a passion for helping others, working outside, baseball and his family. He is survived by a daughter and only child Lougenia Dee Mitchell and her husband, David Scott Mitchell of Las Cruces, NM; a grandson Jeremy Mitchell of Olympia, WA; a granddaughter Emily Lamphear of Lompoc, CA. He also leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Herschel O'Neal of Palmdale, CA; Vera Walker of Paradise, CA; and Harold O'Neal of Grand Junction, CO as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and Christian family. Visitation for Mr. O'Neal will be on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
