Frances A. Crawford, age 86, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. She was born on January 28, 1936 to Walter and Inez (Neal) Crawford. She graduated from San Angelo High School in 1954. Frances started her career at Hemphill-Wells working in the Angeles Book Store. She later worked as a sales associate at Dillards for over 17 years.
Frances was a proud and active member of Harris Avenue Baptist Church. She had a passion for reading and being a part of the Foster Grandparent Program. Frances will always be remembered for her love of books, and knew just what book to gift her family members.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Thomas Buford James.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Norma James and husband Buck, as well as 2 generations of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm, Friday, November 11, 2022 at Johnson's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Randy Bush officiating.
