Diane Freeman of San Angelo, Texas passed away at home on November 25, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 9, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas to Robert and JoAnn Holman. She attended Palo Duro High School and later went on to become a licensed Cosmetologist. Diane will always be remembered for her amazing cooking; she loved fishing at Lake Amistad and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: daughters Christie Freeman and Candace Freeman of San Angelo; son Scott Baker (Stephanie) of Pittsboro, North Carolina; sister Darlene Huckaby (Doug) of San Angelo; brother Donnie Holman (Mary Ann) of Lubbock. Grandchildren: Andrea Valdez, Savannah Laird (Blayke), Layla Freeman, Courtney Baker, Carson Baker, Samuel Freeman, Jason Loveridge, Chloe and Finn Baker. Great-grandchildren: Jesse Huizar and Charlie Laird, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and JoAnn Holman; brother Ronnie Holman; son-in-law Jesus "Jesse" Valdez; nephews Robert "Bobby" Holman and Bryan Holman. Visitation will be at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, Texas on December 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with graveside service at Fairmount Cemetery, 1120 W Ave N, San Angelo, Texas, on December 3 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank Hospice of San Angelo for their care and support.
