Barbara Wanoreck, 98 of San Angelo, Texas passed away February 27, 2017. She was born December 2, 1918 in Pilot Point, Texas to Frank and Mary Havlak. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, San Angelo, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, San Angelo, Texas. Barbara served in WAC, Army Corp during World War II, later married Laurine Wanoreck. They lived in Ballinger, Texas for many years. She worked for Dry Manufacturing in Winters, Texas for twelve years, also worked for Ballinger Florist and Balliger Schools for many years. She also taught Christian Doctrine for five years at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ballinger, Texas. After retirement, she and her husband moved to San Angelo, Texas where they did lots of fishing and hunting and on Sunday’s they loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys. She was a “big fan” of the Cowboys. She also enjoyed doing things for and with their two sons and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Frank Havlak, and eight sisters, Lucy Bubenik, Helen Havlak, Julie Havlak, Elva Havlak, Emily Bernardo, Mary Germany, Annie Braden and Angela Havlak. Barbara is survived by two sons, James Wanoreck and wife LaDonna of San Angelo, Texas and Bob Wanoreck and wife Jan of Eldorado, Texas; two grandsons, Brad Wanoreck and wife Wendi of Fort Worth, Texas and Matt Wanoreck and wife Nicki of McKinney, Texas; two granddaughters, Amanda Wanoreck of Eldorado, Texas and Chandra Wascom and husband Josh of San Angelo, Texas. She is also survived by two great grandsons, Ryan and Zachary of Fort Worth, Texas; four great granddaughters, Claire and Kate Wanoreck of McKinney, Texas, Makynlee of Eldorado, Texas and Hannah Wascom of San Angelo. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Vendline Foltz of San Angelo, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
